Hi there! I’m glad you’ve found me. I’m here to support you in your journey of deepening your
awareness of your emotions. I want to help you understand how these streams of feeling, at
times subtle and at times completely overwhelming, can affect your life, both consciously and
unconsciously.
I work from a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy lens. I have been practicing in this modality and
providing therapy for four years. Though I do work with individuals, I absolutely love the
dynamism and magic that happens in group therapy sessions.
I hold space for people to come
together and share their unique experiences in this life; their challenges, their fears, their hopes
for the future. Together we will support one another in uncovering the maladaptive behaviors
and patterns that prevent us from reaching our full potential. We will also shine a light on our
inherent strengths, our skills, and the hard work we’ve put in to make it this far.
My background is in Occupational Therapy, which is a profession that specializes in getting
people back to doing the things they want, need, or have to do. It is a practice that emphasizes
the individual’s strengths and works to find solutions to seemingly insurmountable barriers. As
an Occupational Therapist, I see you as the expert in your own health, be it mental, spiritual, or
physical. I’m not here to give you the answers, but to guide and empower you in finding them for

Hello, my name is Karlie. I’m a Psychotherapist trained in various rehabilitative and psychotherapeutic modalities. My practice philosophy is holistic, meaning I consider how biology, society, environmental factors, meaning-making and experiential factors all influence our psyche’s wellness. I acknowledge how the impact of modern society, hustle culture, divisive media influences, and oppressive forces shape our lives. To book with me you can either schedule an initial assessment or schedule directly into an individual psychotherapy appointment. For some, providing a detailed history and completing many assessments up front can activate old wounds and de-stabilize you further, so the direct entry to sessions allows us to pace the assessment and make your experience more trauma-informed. Either way we will begin with an assessment of your overall wellbeing in the areas of mood, affect, self-esteem, relational wellbeing, self-care, strengths, and safety.
I utilize evidence-based assessment tools alongside your own knowledge of yourself to collaborate on client-centered goals. Together we will take a two-pronged approach of exploring how past patterns and life events influence you today, while also trying to create a life in the present which is full of joy and peace.
