You wonder when things will get better. Will you ever feel happy again. You strive to always do the right thing. To be someone others can rely on. You are always there for your family and friends. You work hard to better yourself, going to school, being an “excellent” spouse, employee, parent, volunteer. Life is so demanding and you feel like you can’t take it anymore. Tired, sad and angry are words that create scenarios that take up time in your mind. You’re not sleeping, you’re short tempered and feeling sick. You put a smile on your face and go through the motions. No one understands. This is a very lonely place to be.

You might not be able to see a way out right now, but I can. Most people want relief from the pain they’re in. As a social worker and counsellor, I understand how to help people find that relief through examination of internal and external factors that help or hinder healing. Together, we can explore what works for you and get you on track to wellness.

As a counsellor who has done the work, I can guarantee the following: Your feelings of safety are my priority. I care about how you are doing and want to hear your story. I will listen deeply for understanding. I will provide tools and strategies meaningful to you. I will respect our differences and use awareness of my story to enrich your healing journey.
